April 26 – 28, 2024 | Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course – Lexington, OH

The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has hosted SVRA Vintage Events for over 40 consecutive years.  In 2024, SVRA expanded it’s Mid-Ohio schedule hosting 2 SVRA events – a three-race weekend in April and the normal venue in June. This race report is about the first April event.

April weather in Ohio can be “iffy” at best but we had to be there because we could not afford to sacrifice the points and from a points standpoint the weekend was an enormous success. Colby won all the races for his class and gathered a whopping 48 points toward the Championship. 

We had reckoned that it would take somewhere close to 200 points to win the Group 6 Championship, so we were off to a great start. Next up – St. Louis and Worldwide Technology Raceway.
